What’s happening at Ferryhill
Fun Football Programmes
The City of Edinburgh Council in conjunction with the Scottish Football Association will be delivering fun football programmes for both boys and girls.
Both programmes take place at Forrester/ St Augustine’s Community Sports Hub on a Friday afternoon and are perfect for players of all abilities. All sessions are delivered by SFA qualified coaches focusing on skill development, fun and small-sided matches.

Summer Holiday
Ferryhill Primary School is closed for summer holidays from Friday, 29th June. We wish all our families a happy and relaxing summer break. The school office will be open for enquiries on Monday, 13th August from 1.30 – 3.30 pm and on Tuesday, 14th August from 2.00 – 4.00 pm. Free school meals and help with schoolwear
The City of Edinburgh Council provides pupils from low income families with free school meals and money to help towards buying school clothes.
Find out if you match the conditions to claim free school meals(external link) on the Scottish Government website.
If you match these conditions you can also get free milk and a clothing grant. The meals award provides a pupil with one school meal and milk each day they attend school. The clothing grant is £100 for each child. All children in primary 1 to 3 receive free school meals, but not free milk or a clothing grant. You must apply.
