Primary 3A

What’s the weather like?

Primary 3 were outside this morning measuring the weather. We used a thermometer to measure the temperature, looked at how cloudy it was and if we could feel if it was raining or not. We made our own rain collector and are looking forward to finding out much rain is in it.

Number Lines

Primary 3 have been exploring different number sequences in class. We went outside and made our own number lines using pieces of string and even some skipping ropes.

Reflections

Primary 3 have been exploring shapes, patterns and letters that are symmetrical. We went out into the playground and worked in groups drawing shapes and using mirrors to look for lines of symmetry.

Mandalas and 2D shapes

Text: In Primary 3A we have been learning about Buddhism, we used our knowledge about mindfulness to create our own mandalas.

In maths we have been learning about 2D shapes. We went outside and looked for different examples of 2D shapes that we could see.
